Saad Alrashed is a dually qualified lawyer, both in England and Wales (as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court) and in Saudi Arabia. He has several years of legal practice experience in both Saudi Arabia and UK; this is in addition to his local legal knowledge having worked at the Bureau of Experts (BOE) at the Council of Ministers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (where he established a new legal research unit and developed the methods and general ethos of the BOE).

Saad was later seconded as a leading member of the Ministry of Economy and Planning's National Transformation Plan for the Saudi Vision 2030, before moving on to set up law practice Z.S&R along with his two partners.

Saad focuses on public and legislative law, along with contentious matters. He worked in four different jurisdictions for several years and is familiar with cross-border legal matters. Saad is also a contributory author of several published papers.

Representative experience

Advising the Saudi Arabian Royal Court on international and comparative law.

Advising two of the largest family-owned businesses in Saudi Arabia on corporate structuring and legacy issues. 

RAR & Sons Co. general legal counsel with a focus on advising the family owned conglomerate on seeding finance for establishment, acquisition, and later sale of Taib Bank (Bahrain) to Dubai Financial (the financial holding company for Dubai Group).

Lead counsel on The Saudi Vetonit Co. Ltd. (Save to) for the establishment of Abu Dhabi factory and R&D unit.
