With a strong German and European legal background, Anastasios M. Andrianesis brings expertise from the fields of corporate, capital markets, insolvency and financial statements law into our compliance team. Anastasios' interdisciplinary approach offers valuable solutions to complex problems while not losing sight of the "big picture".
As an admitted member of the Athens Bar since 2008, Anastasios is also an expert on Greek law.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Anastasios worked in a Greek law firm specialized in business law. He studied law at the University of Athens and received a Ph.D. in law from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich while holding a scholarship of the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance. He also obtained two master degrees from the Law Schools of the Universities of Athens and Munich. Anastasios frequently publishes in Greek and German law journals on securities, corporate and insolvency law topics.
Representative experience
Advising BNP Paribas and Commerzbank as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners on the €12.8m capital increase of Tom Tailor Holding AG.
Advising Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale on the inaugural issue of promissory notes to International Investment Bank.
Advising Repower AG on issue of promissory notes in the total amount of €50m.
Advising various major companies from the Automotive Industry on compliance topics and large scale internal investigations.
