Anishiya Abrol supports companies in their development and commercialization of cutting-edge medical therapies and tools. She advises on and negotiates a variety of strategic transactions from collaborations to in-licensing and out-licensing to maximize intellectual property assets, and then assists the company in implementing and integrating the new assets.

Anishiya has been seconded to multiple life sciences companies. She knows the issues facing in-house counsel and works closely with members of the firm's Regulatory and Privacy Practice Groups to provide integrated and practical advice.

Anishiya's practice encompasses the full life sciences life cycle, from the discovery in the lab to dispensing to a patient. She has an undergraduate science degree, and her curious nature draws her towards early stage research and development transactions and activities, including clinical trial agreements, material transfer agreements, CRO agreements, core lab agreements, sponsored research, grants, and technology transfers, both domestically and internationally. Recognizing though that a therapy's primary value lies in the hands of patients, she assists commercialization efforts with support on distribution agreements, specialty pharmacy agreements, co-promotion agreements, authorized generic agreements, out-licensing arrangements, and other similar commercial activities
