Maile Hermida and Anna Glinke will present the session "Food Labeling in the U.S. – What is different from EU law" and discuss the basic requirements for food labeling in the U.S., including recent changes regarding:

• The Nutrition Facts labeling requirements
• Bioengineered labeling requirements
• Requirements for making claims on food labels
• Sanctions/enforcement in the event of breaches of law
• How dangerous are class actions?
