Federico Del Monte is a Partner in the Corporate & Finance and Debt Capital Markets Department of the Milan office with extensive experience in banking and finance transactions. Since 1997 he has been advising banks, financial institutions and corporates on a large number of capital markets, securitisation, structured finance, banking, and repackaging transactions.
Federico joined Hogan Lovells in July 2009, after working for 8 years in the capital markets department of Clifford Chance and for 5 years in the capital markets department of Simmons & Simmons.
Federico is ranked among the best Italian lawyers for Debt Capital Markets/Securitisation by all the main legal directories such as Chambers, Legal500 and IFLR.
Representative experience
Assisting DBRS Ratings Limited with the assessment of a number of securitisations and the assignment of the relevant credit ratings.
Assisting Santander, as arranger and originator, in connection with several rated and listed securitisations involving different type of consumer loans and legal structures.
Assisting UniCredit Bank AG, as arranger, in relation to the issue of €9bn bonds in connection with a structured finance transaction of Fineco Leasing.
