Building on the combination of the work we have done in Brazil for many years and Hogan Lovells’ practice strengths, especially in finance, cross-border transactions, corporate and commercial transactions, and international investment, Hogan Lovells opened an office in Rio de Janeiro in the first quarter of 2013.

With the opening of our São Paulo office in mid-January 2014, we have enhanced and diversified our Brazil and broader Latin America practices. Striving to meet and anticipate our clients’ needs, we have strengthened our practices in equity and debt capital markets, private equity, infrastructure development and finance, anti-corruption and investigations, and corporate transactional work across Brazil.

On the ground in both São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, our lawyers work together as one team along with our global Brazil practice to provide our clients with sophisticated international legal advice, with a highly refined local perspective. We are well-connected throughout Brazil and offer decades worth of experience in partnering with our clients on their most complex matters.

We represent international clients with operations in Brazil, Brazil-based clients in Brazil, and Brazilian clients with operations outside of Brazil.
