Andreas von Falck takes the helm as Health & Lifestyle Sector Group Leader at Hogan Lovells, shepherding in a new leadership team for Life Sciences & Health Care

Washington, D.C., London, 25 January 2021 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has today announced that Andreas von Falck will assume the role of Health & Lifestyle Sector Group Leader.

Andreas previously served as Practice Group Leader for the firm’s Intellectual Property, Media and Technology (IPMT) Practice and as a member of the firm’s International Management Committee from the firm’s combination in 2010 until 2018. Prior to the combination, he served as a Practice stream leader at Lovells from 2005 and a member of the Lovells International Executive committee. He is a respected lawyer with extensive expertise supporting high-profile clients in the life sciences industry. 

One of the key industry sectors under Andreas’ leadership is Life Sciences & Health Care, jointly led by Steve Abrams, Lynn Mehler and Jane Summerfield. The sector recently announced a new leadership team responsible for developing the firm’s market leading Life Sciences and Health Care offering. The team comprises Stephen Bennett (partner, London), Hein van den Bos (partner, Amsterdam), Frederick Ch’en (partner, Tokyo), Kristin Connarn (partner, Boston), Christian di Mauro (partner, Milan), Maria Durant (partner, Boston), Adam Golden (partner, New York), Meredith Manning (partner, Denver / Washington, D.C.), Leigh Oliver (partner, Washington, D.C.), Beth Roberts (partner, Washington, D.C.), Jodi Scott (partner, Denver), Arne Thiermann (partner, Hamburg), Jeff Jay (senior associate, New York), and Tina Welter-Birk (senior associate, Munich).

In his new role, Andreas will also work with Industry Sector Heads, Mike Vernick (Education), Kelly Hardy (Consumer) and Craig Umbaugh (Sports, Media & Entertainment), to drive cross-sector collaboration, maintain the firm’s ‘best in class’ industry sector program and further institutionalize the firm’s client base.
