Hogan Lovells adds leading sports lawyer Michael Kuh to Corporate practice in New York

Kuh joins the firm from Latham & Watkins. He has advised athletic teams, leagues, and major international sports bodies, including the United States Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Committee. Kuh was the lead outside counsel guiding the establishment of the National Women’s Soccer League. He has particular experience in bidding for and hosting international sporting events. He was the lead lawyer in New York City’s bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games, and more recently represented the bid committee in the successful United Bid of Canada, Mexico and the United States to host the FIFA 2026 World Cup.

Kuh represents a wide range of clients in high-value transactions as well as early stage financings. His clients have included emerging companies, such as a leading ecommerce company that he advised through its global growth, as well as numerous fintech start-ups.

Kuh earned his B.A. from Swarthmore College in 1994 and his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2003.
