Hogan Lovells advises Dell Technologies in the proposed Sale of RSA

Washington D.C., 21 February 2020 – Hogan Lovells is acting as lead transaction counsel to Dell Technologies in its proposed sale of RSA to a consortium led by Symphony Technology Group, the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board and AlpInvest Partners in an all-cash transaction, for US$2.075 billion, subject to certain adjustments.

RSA provides risk, security and fraud teams with the ability to holistically manage digital risk, including threat detection and response, identity and access management, integrated risk management and omnichannel fraud prevention. The proposed transaction, which includes the purchase of RSA Archer, RSA NetWitness Platform, RSA SecurID, RSA Fraud and Risk Intelligence and RSA Conference, is expected to close within six to nine months from signing.
