Denver, 25 June 2021 - Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce it represented the San Antonio Spurs in a strategic investment from Sixth Street, a leading global investment firm, and Michael Dell. Michael Dell is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dell Technologies. A total of 13 investors in the San Antonio Spurs, LLC were involved in the transaction, and in connection therewith, Peter J. Holt was named managing Partner of the team. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hogan Lovells M&A partners Matthew Eisler, Russell Hedman, and Craig Umbaugh, and Tax partner Mark Weinstein, led the deal along with associates Melissa Moravec, Brandon Leppke and Jeff Nwagbo. Bobby Perez, as EVP and General Counsel of the Spurs, led the transaction for the team, and Lauren Ciminello and Shari Mao, partners at Jackson Walker LLP, represented Peter J. Holt.
