Hogan Lovells advised the lenders on the renegotiation of the concession contract for the Dakar-Diamniadio-AIBD toll motorway.

This motorway, known as the Autoroute de l'Avenir, is operated by Eiffage through its subsidiary, Société Eiffage de la Concession de l'Autoroute de l'Avenir (SECAA).

The objective of this renegotiation was to obtain a more balanced partnership. It resulted in the acquisition by the Senegalese State of 25% of SECAA's share capital and a five-year extension of the concession period.

The Hogan Lovells team consisted of Bruno Cantier, partner, Perrine Limousin, counsel, on the public law aspects, and Olivier Fille-Lambie, partner, and Louis Reynold de Seresin, associate, on the financing aspects.
