Hogan Lovells releases multimedia report of global citizenship efforts

Washington, D.C., 8 November 2019 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has published a multimedia summary of its efforts to serve the communities in which the firm operates. Beyond all borders: Our global Citizenship journey includes examples of the firm’s civic engagement efforts around the world.

The report previews ‘Flip the Switch,’ a short documentary that illustrates the firm’s work with Barefoot College to empower women and bring renewable light to 20,000 families in rural communities.

In addition, the report summarizes the firm’s work in:

  • Baltimore, assisting the expungement of criminal records. 
  • Germany, mentoring young people experiencing difficulty starting their careers. 
  • London, supporting a global competition for entrepreneurs working to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The report also highlights projects involving participants from firm offices in Denver, Dubai, Mexico, Johannesburg, China, Boston, Washington, D.C., Louisville, São Paulo and New York.

Everyone at Hogan Lovells is asked to contribute at least 25 hours each year toward citizenship work through our commitments to pro bono legal services, volunteerism, fundraising, environmental sustainability, and diversity & inclusion.
