Spotlight on REACH Regulation

Manufacturers, importers, and users of chemicals often operate across borders, sourcing, and supplying their products across EU borders and operating with chemical substances in many different locations around the world.

For manufacturers, importers, and users inside the European Union, the requirements set by Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) are a decisive factor of corporate compliance: REACH establishes inter alia obligations to register substances and to observe requirements in the supply chain, and stipulates authorization requirements. The obligations according to REACH are diverse and highly complex in detail. Most of the times, chemical expert consultants can’t do the job themselves.
