Benedikt Dellen advises national and international clients on all issues relating to technical intellectual property rights, with a special focus on patents. In particular, his practice focuses on litigation in the context of patent infringement and nullity proceedings as well as opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office.
His scientific background gives Benedikt special insight into his client's disputes. He is also experienced in coordinating with teams from all over Europe and the USA in cross-border patent infringement proceedings.
His clients include medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, telecommunications companies, aerospace companies and semiconductor manufacturers.
Before Benedikt studied law at Humboldt University of Berlin, he received a Bachelor (Honours) in Biochemistry from the University of St Andrews. His scientific studies focused on the development of a method for the rapid isolation of interferon-sensitive viruses.

Advising an international aircraft equipment supplier in patent infringement proceedings relating to aircraft power supply systems.
Advising a manufacturer of medical devices in several patent infringement proceedings.
Advising a manufacturer of medical devices in nullity proceedings before the Federal Patent Court.
Advising a manufacturer of medical devices in several opposition proceedings before the EPO, including in appeal proceedings before the Enlarged Board of Appeal.
