Clients look to Carrie DeLone for guidance in areas of complex civil litigation matters, with a particular focus on class actions. As a partner in our Washington, D.C. litigation practice, Carrie's litigation experience includes representing Fortune 500 clients across major industries, including health insurers, pharmaceutical companies, and financial institutions.

Her cases have involved a variety of areas of substantive law, including antitrust, fiduciary duty, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, False Claims Act, tax litigation, and contract claims, among others. She has considerable experience at all stages of a class action, including motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, motions to certify and decertify a class, expert motions, pre-trial motions, and class action settlements.

Carrie also contributes to the firm's pro bono practice, advising clients on immigration matters, including representing minors in obtaining legal permanent residency and mentoring high school students on the law and their rights through Thurgood Marshall Academy's Law Days and Street Law's Corporate Legal Diversity Pipeline Program.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Carrie served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Reed C. O'Connor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. While in law school, she was an articles editor for Georgetown University Law Center's American Criminal Law Review, a member of the moot court team, and a co-chair of Home Court, an annual charity basketball game between members of Congress and Georgetown Law faculty to benefit the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless. Prior to law school, she served as nominations clerk for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
