Chinese Energy and Infrastructure Projects in Emerging Markets: Examining Trends in Africa
Partner Rick Martinez hosted an event at the New York City Bar Association, in conjunction with the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, which examined trends in Africa with Chinese energy and infrastructure projects in emerging markets.
The Vance Center’s Power Africa and African Legal Fellows provided an overview of major transactions in South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria, followed by a panel discussion among Chinese and Nigerian lawyers on the practical issues that arise in these large scale investment projects.
