TXF Americas 2023: Structured Trade & Export Finance

Join Hogan Lovells partner Alexis Sáinz at the TXF Americas 2023: Structured Trade & Export Finance conference. This conference brings together industry heavyweights to deliver the latest updates in export and commodities finance.

Alexis will be moderating the ‘Going Places: Transport infrastructure in the Americas’ panel. This session will focus on the trend for large scale infrastructure projects in the Americas, following the uptick in pathfinder deals, such as Brazil’s Linha 6/Laranja underway.

This session looks at the future of transport infrastructure in the Americas, and will examine questions such as:

  • What does the pipeline look like for transport infrastructure in the Americas? Which countries are likely to see large scale project development?
  • How do we bring bankable projects to market?
  • How important are PPPs to financing transport in the Americas?
  • Is DFI involvement the key to large scale social infrastructure in the Americas, or can we bring projects to market with pure commercial bankability?

On the speaking panel, discussing these key questions with Alexis will be:

Olga Calabozo Garrido, Regional Head, Latin America & Caribbean at MIGA – Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency

Jeremy Bennett, Managing Director, Structured Finance at U.S. International Development Finance Corporation

Catalina Munoz, Head of EAF Latin America at Bank of America Merrill Lynch

This conference will be hosted in a hybrid format, in person at the EAST Miami Hotel and online.
