Chris Fitzpatrick is an antitrust litigator with experience handling domestic and cross-border competition disputes. He represents clients in all stages of litigation and advises companies on antitrust risk.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Chris was an antitrust associate with the D.C. office of another international law firm, where he represented clients in a variety of industries, including consumer packaged goods, international ocean shipping, automotive parts, and the financial sector. Chris began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Brenda Sannes of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, and then to the Honorable Michael Chagares of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

In addition to antitrust matters, Chris maintains an ongoing pro bono practice representing veterans in applications for medical retirement benefits before various service-branch administrative boards.

In law school, Chris was a Senior Editor on the board of the Cornell Law Review.

Represented UnitedHealth in defense of litigation to enjoin its acquisition of Change Healthcare

Represent a global pharmaceutical company in MDL alleging antitrust conspiracy claims

Defended a multinational beverage company in an antitrust MDL involving the coffee industry, against claims brought by competitors, consumer classes, and other plaintiffs*

Represented an international ocean shipping company in antitrust and contract matters related to cartel claims*

Represented an international auto parts firm in negotiations concerning potential antitrust claims*
