Francesca Angeloni is a regulatory lawyer and heads the Italian public law and environmental practice.
With over 26 years' experience, of which more than 20 in Hogan Lovells, and a consolidated track record in regulated and strategic markets such as energy, infrastructure and industrial projects, Francesca is a recognised top-class environmental lawyer, as well as a talented and versatile advisor in regulatory matters (energy regulatory, permitting, compliance, contracts with public authorities), M&A deals and litigation with rights of audience before the higher courts.
She has developed an Italian practice capable of offering clear, pragmatic and multi-faceted advice on these areas of the law. She is a seasoned lawyer in her field, and clients really value her contribution, at a technical, business and practical level, thanks to a huge reservoir of experience and practical know how in her areas. Her capability of working in an international and a multicultural environment, alongside the client, with cross-border or multidisciplinary teams including technical consultants, and her excellent language skills are her assets, a rarity among regulatory lawyers in Italy.
Francesca is ranked as a Leading Individual in Administrative and Public law, and in Environmental Law by Who's Who 100 Top Lawyer, Legal 500 and Chambers Europe.
