Lauren Battaglia has been at the forefront of high-profile, high-stakes antitrust merger clearance matters, including advising clients through litigation challenges by the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice. She thrives in helping clients develop pragmatic strategies to achieve their goals and secure wins, including as a member of the trial team overcoming DOJ’s lawsuit challenging ASSA ABLOY’s $4.3 billion acquisition of the HHI division of Spectrum Brands in 2023.
Lauren has experience counseling clients across a range of industries that includes life sciences, consumer products, manufacturing, industrials, defense, and financial services. She also routinely advises on antitrust considerations related to pricing and distribution strategies, joint ventures, strategic collaborations, and antitrust compliance.
Lauren is a leading voice in the antitrust bar, serving in leadership of the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association and an active working group member of the International Bar Association Antitrust Committee. She speaks regularly on antitrust issues across the globe and has published numerous articles on antitrust topics.
