Lucas Osorio

Lucas is a partner in the Corporate/M&A practice in Hogan Lovells' Madrid office, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. He is a recognized expert in projects and regulated asset transactions, especially in EPC, PPP, and infrastructure contracts. He is a former State Lawyer (Abogado del Estado) on voluntary leave of absence, and for 12 years he was Legal Director and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Cintra, one of the leading infrastructure companies in the world (Ibex 35 until its merger with Ferrovial). He is currently Secretary of the Board of Directors of Metrovacesa, a listed real estate company in Spain.

Lucas is an expert in corporate governance, and has also participated in several corporate transactions with listed companies, including the IPO of Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras, SA; Grupo Ferrovial, S.A.; Metrovacesa S.A., the admission of Testa Residencial Socimi S.A. to the Alternative Stock Market (MAB); and several takeover bids.

During his career in the public sector, Lucas was Chief State Attorney in different Ministries, where he focused on Administrative Law, public procurement and regulated sectors in general.

Lucas is recognized by the most prestigious international directories such as Chamebrs & Partners for his Corporate and Public Law practice. Finally, Lucas acts on a regular basis as arbitrator in many arbitration courts.
