Sean advises clients on private equity transactions, investments in funds and their portfolio companies, and corporate governance. He leverages his corporate litigation experience to advise clients about how a court may view today's deal in the future.
While in law school, Sean worked as an intern at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Corporation Finance and honed his writing skills as a notes editor on the Journal of Law, Economics and Policy. After graduating, he practiced corporate litigation at a prominent Delaware law firm, where he served a wide array of clients and business entities organized in Delaware.
Sean recently joined the firm's private equity practice after completing a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Chancellor Kathaleen St. J. McCormick of the Delaware Court of Chancery, the nation's preeminent forum for the resolution of commercial legal disputes. His litigation experience affords him unique insight when helping clients mitigate their risk during complex transactions.
