Megan Wilson brings to the Education practice a unique ability to approach and analyze issues from a variety of perspectives in order to reach the best client outcomes. From high school geometry teacher to mathematics department chair; from law student to intern; from Juvenile Justice Clinic student attorney to regulatory lawyer, she has experience in various aspects of education policy and law.
Megan helps education clients comply with federal, state, and industry-specific requirements. Her work assists a wide variety of education-related entities, including universities and colleges, school districts, education associations, and companies that invest or operate in the education sector. She regularly monitors industry developments in order to proactively advise clients on new rules, innovations, and best practices.
In addition to her practice, Megan is committed to community service and pro bono opportunities centered on youth, education, and justice. She serves as a reading mentor to an elementary school student through the Everybody Wins! DC Power Lunch Program, works with ninth-grade students as a volunteer with Thurgood Marshall Academy's Law Day program, and advocates for those involved in the criminal justice system.
