Mikako Tsukada focuses her practice at Hogan Lovells on IP prosecution. She handles various trademark-related matters in Japan and abroad, including filing applications, prosecution, oppositions, appeals, non-use cancellation, enforcement, and consultation.
Mikako obtained a B.A. in law from Waseda University and an M.D from Waseda University Graduate School. She has been registered as a benrishi (patent attorney in Japan) since 2006 and as a qualified IP litigator since 2008. Before joining Hogan Lovells in 2014, Mikako worked at one of the most prestigious trademark firms in Tokyo.
