London, 8 October 2021 – Akima Paul Lambert, Dispute Resolution partner at Hogan Lovells, has been chosen as a winner in the Professional Services - Senior Leader category of the Black British Business Awards 2021, for her practice focusing on high-stakes commercial litigation and arbitration. 

The prestigious awards programme celebrates the exceptional performance and outstanding achievements of Black entrepreneurs and professionals across the UK. Now in its eighth year, the awards highlight exceptional business talent across six industries: arts and media, consumer and luxury, start-ups, financial services, professional services, and STEM (science, tech, engineering and maths).

Akima started her career at Hogan Lovells, and re-joined Hogan Lovells as a partner earlier this year. She has led on several multijurisdictional matters, including representing BAT on various high-profile litigation matters and more recently, PJSC Tatneft in a 12-week remote trial in the Commercial Court. She is dual-qualified in the UK and in the U.S. and also has experience in commercial and investment treaty arbitration.
