Eve Howard selected as member of the DirectWomen Board Institute
Washington D.C., 16 March 2021 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Eve Howard, Global Head of Capital Markets, has been selected as a member of the DirectWomen Board Institute class 2020-2021.
The 2020-2021 DirectWomen Board Institute class is comprised of General Counsel of Fortune 500 companies, senior partners at top law firms, and leading lawyers from private equity and government. These distinguished women lawyers represent a wide range of business knowledge and experience in their industries, which include finance, energy, telecommunications, retail, and manufacturing, among others.
Board Institute participants are identified through a rigorous search and selection process. At the Board Institute, the class will meet with an extraordinary faculty comprised of CEOs, C-suite executives, and directors of public companies to discuss key issues facing corporate directors.
Since its inception 14 years ago, more than 215 women have participated in the Board Institute, and more than a third of the Board Institute’s alumnae have been elected to serve as directors of major companies, such as: Tesla, Inc., Visa Inc., The TJX Companies, Inc., Valero Energy Corporation, Party City Holdco Inc., Intercontinental Exchange, Inc., and others.
With more than 30 years of experience, Eve Howard is a trusted advisor to clients when they embark on financing and other strategic transactions. She represents both issuers and leading investment banking firms in the issuance of investment grade, high yield, and convertible notes offerings across a wide spectrum of industries in both public offerings and private placement transactions. Prior to her appointment as Global Head of Capital Markets, Eve served for four years on the firm’s International Management Committee. Eve has also led on important firm issues such as agile working, diversity and inclusion, partner development and advancement, as well as associate and partner recruitment.
