Hogan Lovells advised on the sale of the Cinema 3D S.A. portfolio

The Warsaw office of Hogan Lovells advised the owner of Cinema 3D S.A. on the sale of its portfolio of sites in Poland to Vue International.

On May 24, 2019, the final sale agreement was signed. The value of the transaction has not been released to the public.

Cinema 3D is a multiplex cinema network established in 2010, consisting of 13 sites with 59 screens (and a further two sites in development) in different retail and leisure developments all over Poland. It offers a well-equipped, modern chain with the possibility of showing films using 3D technology.

Vue International is one of the leading cinema operators in the world, managing brands in ten countries: Poland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, and Taiwan.

Advocate Marek Grodek (the partner heading the Real Estate Practice within the Hogan Lovells Warsaw office) supervised and coordinated the project.
