Hogan Lovells advises Artémis Group, the Pinault family's holding company, on the merger of Artémis Domaines with Maisons & Domaines Henriot

Paris, 3 October 2022 – Hogan Lovells has advised the Artémis Group, the Pinault family's holding company, on the merger of Artémis Domaines with Maisons & Domaines Henriot.

Through this merger, Artémis Domaines, which now includes a wine group covering the vineyards of Champagne, Burgundy, the Rhone Valley, the Médoc, California and Oregon, aims to become the world leader in grand cru wines.

Following this transaction, Gilles de Larouzière, CEO of Maisons & Domaines Henriot, has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the new group Artémis Domaines. The Pinault family remains the majority shareholder of Artémis Domaines.

The Hogan Lovells team was composed of Matthieu Grollemund (partner), Pierre-Marie Boya (counsel), Gautier Valdiguié (senior associate) and Arthur Deschamps (associate) in corporate; Marion Guertault (partner) in employment law; Alexander Premont (partner) and Guergana Zabounova (counsel) in banking.

Cleary Gottlieb also advised Artémis on tax matters (Anne-Sophie Coustel and Marion Losseau).
