Hogan Lovells advises Enel on the sale of its energy distribution business from Enel Peru to CSGI

Milan, 17 April 2023 - Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Enel Perú S.A.C., a subsidiary of Enel Group, on the sale of its entire equity stake held in Enel Distribución Perú S.A.A. and in Enel X Perú S.A.C., for a total consideration of around US$2.9 billion dollars, equivalent to an enterprise value of about US$4 billion dollars, to China Southern Power Grid International (HK) Co. Ltd. (“CSGI”).
The Hogan Lovells team was led by partner Luca Picone, with support from counsel Pierluigi Feliciani and senior associate Francesco De Michele. The team was also supported by partners Florian Agnel and Suyong Kim, counsel Mark Nash, senior associate Shahd Amin and trainee Eleanor Winn from the London office. Partner Liang Xu, senior associate Aldo Boni De Nobili and associate Xu Xu were also involved from the Beijing office.
The Hogan Lovells team collaborated closely with Enel’s in-house team and with Rebaza, Alcázar & De las Casas as local counsel.
