Hogan Lovells advises on the acquisition of the entire corporate capital of Gruppo Florence by Permira
Milan, 26 October 2023 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised the entrepreneurs of Gruppo Florence on the sale of their entire shareholding owned in the group to Permira, and on the reinvestment of part of the sales proceeds in the new acquisition vehicle.
In the context of this transaction, Permira has finalised the acquisition of Gruppo Florence, an Italian leading industrial platform in the luxury sector, from the former controlling shareholders, which include VAM Investment Group, Fondo Italiano d’Investimento, Italmobiliare, the entrepreneurs of Gruppo Florence, and members of the management, that reinvested part of the proceeds in the project alongside Permira.
Hogan Lovells assisted the entrepreneurs with a cross-practice team led by M&A partner Luca Picone, with support from counsel Martina Di Nicola, associates Eva Campione and Gianluca Ceci, and trainees Paola Rossi and Federico Paganelli. Senior associate Fabrizio Grillo and trainee solicitor Giulia Maccioni advised on the labour aspects of the transaction.
