Hogan Lovells among the winners at LegalWeek’s Leaders in Tech Law awards
Washington, D.C., 30 January, 2024 – Hogan Lovells is delighted to announce that the firm has won the LegalWeek Leaders in Tech Law awards in the Regulatory, Governance, and Compliance technology category. Our Head of Legal Engineering – Americas, Jeremy Burdge, was also shortlisted in a prestigious group of finalists in the Innovators of the Year category.
This is the fourth annual LegalWeek Leaders in Tech Law Awards, where the most innovative achievements of the past year from law firms, legal departments, providers and alternative legal service providers are celebrated.
The firm won in the category of Regulatory, Governance, and Compliance technology, for a new regulatory data management product, Infogov. LegalWeek described our product as “a holistic information governance solution to tackle the challenges presented by exponential data growth that securely stores critical data in categorized and accessible form, puts automatic triggers in place to purge data, and allows for data tagging.”
Jeremy Burdge was shortlisted for his leading role in multiple cutting-edge projects, many of which have been developed using pioneering Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques. In 2019, Burdge won a Financial Times Innovative Lawyers award for a breakthrough AI program that for the first time was able to decipher characters in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Burdge also serves as Chief Operating Officer - Americas, for ELTEMATE, Hogan Lovells' standalone legal tech hub.
