Hogan Lovells advises Myriad Genetics on the sale of the private clinic Dr. Robert Schindlbeck

Press releases | 27 March 2020

Led by Munich partner Peter Huber and counsel Andreas Thun, Hogan Lovells advised Myriad Genetics on the sale of the private clinic Dr. Robert Schindlbeck in Herrsching to the district of Starnberg. In the future, the clinic will be managed by the Starnberger Kliniken holding.

Together with the clinic, a medical supply center for molecular diagnostics (MVZ) is sold to the district of Starnberg. Myriad will continue to provide its genetic diagnostics services in Germany through a cooperation agreement with the MVZ.

With the acquisition of the clinic, the Starnberg district has permanently secured inpatient care in the region and saved jobs. A cooperation between the private clinic and Klinikum Seefeld, which has existed for decades, is to be further deepened.

Hogan Lovells advised Myriad Genetics on all legal issues and negotiations.
