Hogan Lovells advises PTC on the acquisition of RE’FLEKT IP
Led by Munich partner Nikolas Zirngibl, international law firm Hogan Lovells has advised US technology company PTC, Inc. on negotiating an agreement for the acquisition of intellectual property and trademarks of the German augmented reality (AR) start-up RE’FLEKT.
In the context of the transaction, the RE’FLEKT founders and selected individual team members will join PTC's augmented reality business unit Vuforia.
Founded in Munich in 2012, RE’FLEKT is a leading provider of enterprise AR software and remote workplace solutions. The agreement will serve to expand PTC's technical expertise in augmented reality and its go-to-market organization in the European market.
Hogan Lovells provided legal advice to PTC on all aspects of the negotiations and subsequent agreement.
