Hogan Lovells advises Stumpf Group on minority investment by funds managed by BDT Capital Partners in Exyte Group
Led by Frankfurt-based partners Matthias Jaletzke and Nikolai Sokolov and Munich-based partner Peter Huber, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised, together with a Freshfields team led by Duesseldorf-based partner Gregor von Bonin, M+W Group GmbH and Austrian Stumpf Group, direct and indirect shareholders of German-based Exyte Group, a global leader in the design, engineering, and delivery of high-tech facilities, on the sale of a significant minority interest to funds managed by US merchant bank BDT Capital Partners LLC.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Exyte's previous sole (indirect) owner Georg Stumpf will remain the majority shareholder of the Group, which offers a full range of services from consulting to turnkey solutions in markets such as semiconductors, batteries, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and data centers. The closing of the transaction will occur upon receipt of the required regulatory approvals.
