Singapore, 18 November 2024 - Hogan Lovells is delighted to announce the addition of Rob Palmer to its International Arbitration practice in Singapore. Joining from Ashurst's International Arbitration group, Rob brings extensive experience and a robust and loyal client base to Hogan Lovells' team in Southeast Asia.

Rob Palmer is a distinguished figure in the international arbitration arena, particularly known for his expertise in energy, construction, and infrastructure disputes across the region. Based in Southeast Asia since 2003, Rob has successfully represented clients in disputes related to projects all across APAC and beyond.  His arrival at Hogan Lovells comes at a time of strategic growth and strengthens the firm’s regional and international arbitration offering, which continues to grow.  Qualified in New Zealand, New South Wales, and England, Rob is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, and the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA). He has conducted numerous arbitrations under the auspices of leading arbitral institutions, including the SIAC, AAA, ICC, LCIA, KLRCA/AIAC, TAI, and BANI. 

As former Managing Partner of Ashurst’s Singapore office, Rob also brings leadership experience and a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion at both team and office level.
