Hogan Lovells advises The Independents on the acquisition of a stake in its capital by Towerbrook and FL Entertainment

Formed in 2017, The Independents is a global agency group comprising Bureau Betak & Bureau Future, CTZAR, Karla Otto, K2, The Qode, Lefty and Prodject offering strategy, creative, talent management, influencer marketing, experiential and communications services in key territories including Milan, Paris, London, Munich, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul, Dubai and Riyadh.

This transaction will enable the group to continue its international expansion and step up its external growth strategy.

The Hogan Lovells team in Paris was composed by Stéphane Huten and Florian Brechon (partners), Guillaume Denis and Charlène Jouet (associates) in corporate, Ludovic Geneston (partner), Thomas Claudel (counsel) and Maryll Pizzetta (associate) in Tax ; Eric Paroche (partner) and Celine Verney (senior associate) in antitrust. In Luxembourg, the team comprised Alexander Koch (partner), Benoit Serraf (counsel) and Adèle Rousseau (associate) in corporate.
