Hogan Lovells recognized at the Lawyer Awards

London, 19 June 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that it has won the Competition and Regulatory Team of the Year award in a joint submission at the Lawyer Awards 2024. The firm was also commended in the Restructuring Team of the Year category. These prestigious annual awards celebrate the exceptional achievements of law firms, legal teams, and individuals within the UK legal sector. 

The Hogan Lovells Competition and Regulatory team was recognized for securing a major victory for Vodafone Group and Vodafone UK in the long-running Phones 4u competition law litigation, in a joint submission with Norton Rose Fulbright, Clifford Chance, Covington & Burling, Linklaters, and Mishcon De Reya. The Hogan Lovells team advising Vodafone included partner Angus Coulter, partner Alice Wallace-Wright, partner John Tillman; counsel Victoria Lindsay; senior associates Rebecca Hing and Jamie Pollock; and associates Juliette Parkinson and Thomas Evans.

The firm worked alongside Rothschild & Co as financial advisor, guiding the noteholders through the complex multi-jurisdictional financial restructuring of Atento. The Hogan Lovells team included partners Alex Kay, David Simonds, Matt Schernecke, Alex Koch and Richard Aftanas; counsels Emmanuel Lamaud and Benoît Serraf; and senior associates Alex Snell, Jonathan Morris, Edward McNeilly and Stephen Bate.
