Hogan Lovells wins Chambers USA Award for 'Privacy and Data Security Law Firm of the Year'
Hogan Lovells’ Privacy and Cybersecurity practice has again been named the winner of a 2022 Chambers USA Award. The practice was singled out as the “Privacy and Data Security Law Firm of the Year” at an event held in conjunction with the launch of the 2022 Chambers USA Guide. This marks the third time that the practice has won the award.
In naming Hogan Lovells as the sole winner of the category, the editors noted the following: “the firm houses ‘tremendous lawyers’ and ‘are definitely thought leaders in this area,’ according to interviewees. It is a go-to firm for clients in the healthcare, technology and financial services sectors, among others. Recently, the team advised Equifax on a high-profile consumer data breach affecting approximately 147 million consumers, which included negotiating and defending a multi-stakeholder coordinated settlement that was ultimately affirmed by the Eleventh Circuit.”
