Greg Noonan represents both corporations and individuals in a broad range of white collar criminal and complex civil matters, including government investigations and enforcement, internal investigations, and qui tam litigation.

Greg's experience is broad, including defending alleged violations of, for example, the False Claims Act (FCA); the Anti-Kickback Statute; the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act; and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). His clients include companies and professionals in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and health care industries, as well as in financial services, higher education, and high tech.

Before joining the firm, Greg served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney (AUSA) from 2008 through 2012 for the U.S. Attorney's Offices in the District of Massachusetts and the Southern District of California. In Boston, Greg was a member of the criminal Health Care Fraud Unit. In San Diego, Greg was a member of the General Crimes Unit.

In addition to his legal practice, Greg currently also serves as the Boston Office Administrative Partner and its Litigation, Arbitration, and Employment group manager.

Representative experience

Represented pharmaceutical executive in successful resolution of criminal allegations in off-label and HIPAA investigations, civil allegations in FCA qui tam case, and securities class action.

Resolved state attorney general investigation of state-mandated student disclosures for online school system.

Represented pharmaceutical manufacturers in various off-label promotion investigations.*

Represented medical device manufacturer in False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute investigation.*

Secured civil settlement for individual investigated for submitting false claims to Medicare.*
