Roshni Patel helps clients navigate the evolving framework of federal, state, and international privacy, data security, and consumer protection laws. She works with clients to build and enhance privacy programs, respond to regulatory inquiries, and plan for and respond to data breaches. She also advises companies on matters relating to product development, marketing, artificial intelligence, and biometrics.
Roshni focuses her practice on the financial services sector and regularly counsels banks, lenders, fintech companies, investment advisors, and insurance companies on regulatory compliance. Armed with sector-specific knowledge and experience, she advises financial institutions on affiliate data sharing, innovative data uses, and other data protection matters.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Roshni was a privacy and data security associate at a large national firm. She also served as a privacy fellow for the Wikimedia Foundation.
