Susanne Ries knows them both – the view of outside counsel and the inhouse perspective. After advising issuers and investment banks on capital markets transactions for years, including several years as a partner in our Frankfurt office, she became general counsel at an issuer. As of counsel, she utilises her double experience for the benefit of the client.
As capital markets lawyer Susanne has advised on a vast number of transactions, initial public offerings, raising debt and equity for listed companies using all sorts of instruments, including convertibles. Clients praise her efficiency and negotiation skills. Her years as inhouse lawyer give her additional weight and credibility in difficult situations.
