As a dedicated litigator, David advises clients on a variety of complex business matters and partners with clients to resolve challenging legal issues. David’s civil litigation practice covers a diversity of industries, with a particular focus in construction, real estate, manufacturing, and energy.
Before joining the firm, David served as a judicial law clerk for Chief Judge Timothy M. Tymkovich of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in Denver, Colorado. As a law clerk, David drafted opinions, prepared bench memos, and provided legal recommendations for the adjudication of civil and criminal appeals. While obtaining his law degree from the University of Colorado Law School, David interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado and worked as an associate editor for the University of Colorado Law Review.
Prior to David’s career in law, he served in the U.S. Army as an Engineer Officer. David currently serves as a Judge Advocate (JAG) in the U.S. Army Reserve.
David is passionate about serving his community and is an active board member at The Village Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive services to single-mother refugee families. David also serves as a committee member on the 4th Judicial District’s Access to Justice Committee, whose mission is to expand access to and enhance the quality of justice in civil legal matters. David has provided countless pro bono hours supporting refugee, asylee, and juvenile clients.
