ホーガン・ロヴェルズ、Covestro AG にStratasys Groupへの多層造形事業の売却について助言を提供

プレスリリース | 2022年8月18日

With an international team led by Dusseldorf partner Jens Uhlendorf, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Covestro AG, one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-quality plastics and their components, on the sale of its additive manufacturing business to US-Israeli Stratasys Group. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2023.

Stratasys is a global leader in the transition to additive manufacturing with innovative 3D printing solutions for industries such as aerospace, automotive, consumer goods and healthcare.

Covestro's divested business unit provides material solutions for common polymer 3D printing processes. It includes employees, intellectual property and know-how, research and development facilities, production units and offices in Germany, the Netherlands, the US, China and the UK, as well as access to a large network of partners worldwide.

With the decision to sell the additive manufacturing business, Covestro continues to consistently optimize its portfolio to position itself even more efficiently and to be able to focus even more strongly on the extensive range of products for customers in its main customer industries.

Hogan Lovells advised Covestro on all legal aspects of the transaction.
