Representative experience

Represented Hyundai Motor Company in largest ever Clean Air Act mobile source enforcement action regarding the company’s fuel economy mileage estimates and greenhouse gas emissions.

Successfully challenged the U.S. government’s Endangered Species Act listing of the lesser prairie chicken on behalf of the oil and gas industry.

Representing Lockheed Martin in connection with claims for contribution of approximately US$380m in claimed costs of investigating and cleaning up contamination at US Air Force bases.

Defended class action and 11 non-class lawsuits involving 1,000 claimants, settled three state enforcement actions, and defended separate cost recovery and contribution actions involving PCE contamination.
