Paola Barometro is an Italian qualified lawyer with extensive experience in M&A transactions involving banks and financial institutions. She has also been involved in recent years in major Italian banks rescue and relaunch transactions.
Paola advises a wide spectrum of corporate clients as well as private equity funds and other financial investors mainly in M&A projects, with a particular emphasis on banks and financial institutions active in the European financial markets.
She has been recently involved in major Italian banks rescue and relaunch transactions. Her practice also focuses on cross-border M&A, joint venture, private equity and venture capital transactions, including negotiated mergers, auction bid processes, leveraged buyouts and the acquisition and divestiture of divisions and subsidiaries in other industries like life sciences, energy and technology.
Paola also regularly counsels' boards of directors on corporate governance, compliance and fiduciary duties.
She has been recently involved in IPOs, share capital increases and other extraordinary transactions on multilateral trading facilities.
