Christian Stoll focuses on patent and trademark law, technology transfer and licensing law. His work includes representing clients in IP infringement proceedings concerning patents, know-how, trademarks and designs as well as in licensing matters before all German courts, the German Patent Office, the European Patent Office and the Federal Patent Court.

He frequently advises on and negotiates IP license agreements, research and development agreements, IP contracts in connection with commercial transactions, technology transfer agreements and co-operation agreements. His practice also includes legal and IP strategic advice relative to the development and market introduction of new products, including freedom-to-operate analyses and the acquisition and structuring of the necessary licenses.

Christian advises and represents, inter alia, multiple international companies in the fields of telecommunications, engineering, semiconductors, and medical devices in patent infringement disputes and licensing matters. Christian is Managing Partner of the Hamburg office. He teaches patent law and licensing law at the Bucerius Law School, Hamburg.

Representing an international aircraft equipment supplier in patent infringement proceedings and nullity proceedings relating to aircraft power supply systems.

Advising on the IP transfer and licensing provisions in the joint venture between Bosch and Danfoss in the field of compressor technology.

Representing Hollister in multiple patent infringements, preliminary injunction and opposition proceedings relating to urinary catheters.

Representing a global medical device manufacturer in multiple patent infringement and opposition proceedings.

Representing an international manufacturer of pick and place machines in multiple infringement and nullity proceedings before the German courts.

Representing manufacturers of medical devices in patent infringement proceedings relating to x-ray devices and the standard testing procedures for x-ray devices.

Advising a global manufacturer of wound care products on the acquisition of patents and the associated technology in the field of wound care.

Representing a computer manufacturer in patent infringement and nullity proceedings relating to data transfer technologies for server and computer monitors.
