An experienced litigator, Julius Fabian Stehl specializes in handling of complex disputes both in and out of court and successfully represents our national and international clients before both state courts and arbitral tribunals. As additional key areas of his work, Fabian conducts internal investigations related to white collar crime allegations in Germany and abroad, advises companies on compliance related issues and supports clients in urgent crisis scenarios.

He has long-standing expertise in corporate and commercial litigation/arbitration as well as post-investigation disputes and mass proceedings. He also frequently advises on ESG topics and insurance companies on product and directors' and officers' liability matters.

Fabian studied at the University of Bonn and the Universitá degli Studi di Firenze, Italy. He completed his masters degree in business law (LL.M.) at the University of Cologne and was valedictorian of his class. During his legal traineeship, he already gathered experience in the corporate sector of an international law firm. In addition, he gained valuable international experience at the German consulate general in Chicago and at our New York City office.

Advising a German chemical park operator on an internal investigation regarding the background and possible causes of an incident with major consequences.

Advising a European rating agency on an internal investigation regarding alleged compliance topics.

Advising and representing a German building materials manufacturer in defending alleged product liability claims (more than 100 individual cases).

Advising several multinational companies in connection with ransomware attacks.

Advising and representing a German promotional bank in connection with contributions to the SRF in appeal proceedings before the European Court of Justice.

Advising a European hygiene and workwear company on the implementation of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG).

Advising and representing a leading German insurance company in defending against a D&O claim brought forward by way of a direct action.
