Florian Richter advises national and international clients in the field of intellectual property, especially in trademark, domain and unfair competition law. He especially represents clients from the sectors e-commerce, IT and consumer goods – both in court as well as in out-of-court matters.
Florian has comprehensive experience in the areas of platform regulation and platform liability. He advises leading online service providers on EU provider liability regimes, with a focus on Digital Services Act (DSA) implementation and compliance. Further main areas of Florian's practice are national and international trademark enforcement and combatting infringements over the internet.
Florian studied law at the University of Münster and at the University of Edinburgh, where he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with focus on intellectual property law. During his legal clerkship, he worked at a German broadcasting agency, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Department for Digital Transformation), and also at the trademark chamber of Regional Court of Hamburg.
