Mengxi Hu focuses her practice on aircraft leasing and debt finance.
She has acted for banks, operating lessors and airlines on a wide range of multi-jurisdictional matters involving portfolio acquisitions and disposals, PDP financings, sale and leaseback arrangements as well as operating and finance leases.
Mengxi also has experience across acquisition finance matters and the financing of vessels.

Acting for an European low-cost airline on transactions including sale and leasebacks, finance leases, lease novations and AFIC financings as well as its recapitalisation and restructuring.
Acting for Babcock Mission Critical Services on multiple PDP financings and operating leasing arrangements for its global fleet of helicopters.
Advising a Swiss bank on multiple loan and lease financings of corporate aircraft.
Advising Pembroke Capital on sale and leaseback, operating lease and aircraft portfolio sale transactions including lease novations of aircraft on lease to lessees in a number of jurisdictions.
Acting for a major global bank on the acquisition of an aviation loan portfolio from a German bank.
