Michael represents corporate clients, private equity firms and their portfolio companies, financial investors, emerging companies and established companies, and principals in all stages of an investment and in all aspects of a transaction. He also counsels companies and boards on corporate governance matters, complex commercial transactions, and joint ventures.

Michael also maintains a leading sports and entertainment practice, advising some of the most prestigious sporting organizations, including athletic teams, leagues, national governing bodies of sport, and major international bodies. He represented the successful international bid by Canada, Mexico, and the United States to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as well as served as lead outside counsel creating the National Women's Soccer League. He has also represented domestic and international entities in managing the bidding, evaluation, and award process to host the Olympic Games.
